Hotel Betania by DOT Light, located in the heart of Centro Historico in Santa Marta, was a delightful stay during my recent trip. The charming colonial-style boutique hotel offers a warm welcome with its 24-hour front desk and free WiFi throughout the property.As a professional dancer and cultural promoter, I found the central location to be ideal for exploring the historic sites and vibrant cultural scene of Santa Marta. The proximity to the Santa Marta Gold Museum and the beach, just a short 10-minute walk away, made it convenient to immerse myself in the local beauty and heritage.The comfortable air-conditioned room, fitted with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom, provided a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing.Although I didn't have the opportunity to travel with children on this trip, I could see how families would appreciate the convenience of the roundtrip airport shuttle and the free continental breakfast offered by the hotel. The laundry facilities and tour/ticket assistance were additional practical amenities that enhanced the overall experience.In conclusion, Hotel Betania by DOT Light exudes a welcoming atmosphere and provides a perfect blend of modern comforts and historic charm.
